35MM Canon Rebel lens interchangable with Digital?

I've got an old Canon Rebel EOS 35MM with 3 lenses.  Would the new digital Rebel bodies work with those lenses?  They have USM motors.

Why Do People buy Sony Digital Cameras?

Why do most of my friends buy Sony digital cameras? They arent any good. They use proprietary technology, and they didnt develop their own lenses. Plus, they got their DSLR technology from Minolta, so how on earth are they any good? They dont know crap.
