I got one for christmas and it does not show high deff at all, i have it all in the right settings, then i convert the videos onto my computer with the program that came with my camera Now all of a sudden when i convert them it turnspixely too, that never happend before. I need helppp with this lol The only way to view full HD video is either by connecting the camera to a HDV (high definition television) or author (burn) your project on a Blu-ray disk using a Blue-ray burner. Normally, you can see 1280×720 resolution on a computer LCD screen. When you convert video for play-back on a PC (.mpeg, wma) or on DVD (MPEG-2, optimized for DVD), it becomes standard definition. The format you converted it too may have been the problem. |

Features & Performance: The Canon VIXIA HFS100 camcorder has a new custom dial that allows you to conveniently select custom settings. Most of the external controls were very well placed where your fingers can easily reach it. The menu interface has also gone through some noticeable improvements (it has a smoother feel). The quality of the videos recorded at 17 and 24Mbps were very impressive. Exposures were excellent at the colors were very realistic. An optical viewfinder and a more sturdy lens cover would have made it the perfect camcorder.
